“I enjoy what I do.”

Sebastiano Armeli-Battana or just Sebastiano Armeli, has become one of the latest additions to the Developer Press family with the release of his eBook, ‘MVC Applies To JavaScript’.  So we thought we would welcome him into the family and into the Developer Press community by getting to know him more!

You can find out about Sebastiano in our ‘Authors’ tab; stuff like he is a senior software engineer working in Melbourne, Australia. Or that he has developed and designed applications using different programming languages — JavaScript, Java, Ruby — but is most passionate about JavaScript and web development. You can also find out things like he is also the author of a jQuery plug-in called JAIL and he also enjoys speaking at conferences and writing technical articles.

BUT we know you want to find out more about the man behind the book!

Like the fact that he may live in Melbourne, Australia but yes, he is Italian. You want to know things like – what he gets up to in his spare time, which is… going to the gym, playing soccer and enjoying his friends company. Sebastiano is a true Italian; he loves good food and good coffee and always likes to try new restaurants and new dishes!

What interests Sebastiano: Performance, automation and languages, including JavaScript, Java and Ruby.

“I enjoy what I do” Sebastiano says.
